Democrats Dine Out at the Country Club of Fairfax

 Enjoy a Brunch Buffet with your fellow Democrats and meet our newly elected Delegates to the National Convention. Hosted by the Sully and Braddock District Democrats.

Brunch Buffet (in the ballroom) to include: French toast with berries, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and sausage links, home fries, fresh seasonal fruit, bagels and cream cheese, freshly baked muffins, orange & cranberry juice, coffee and tea. Cash bar available.

Falls Church Memorial Day Parade and Voter Registration Booth

  • What: Falls Church Memorial Day Parade and Voter Registration Booth
  • When: May 28 (beginning at 9am)
  • Where: Grounds of City Hall, 300 Park Avenue, at the intersection of Park and Little Falls Street.

There will be food, amusement rides, pony rides, live entertainment, and booths for arts and crafts, businesses and civic organizations, and us doing voter registration! There will also be tours of the historic, 163-year-old Cherry Hill Farmhouse between 10 and 2 pm and a veterans’ ceremony at our Veterans Memorial in front of the community center at 11 am.

FCDC General Membership May 22 Meeting to Feature PJ Crowley Former Assistant Secretary of State

The Fairfax County Democratic Committee will hold its General Meeting this month and we hope you can attend.  Here are the details:

1.  7:00-7:45 Presentation and Q&A hosted by the National Affairs Committee:  
Phillip “P.J.” Crowley, Fmr. Asst. Secretary of State for Public Affairs
to discuss National Security and the 2012 Election.  (more info here)

2. 7:45 General Meeting

a. Election of a new Finance Chair.  Our former FCDC Vice Chair for Finance, Kristin Cabral, is now running for Congress in the 10th District against Frank Wolf, so we have an opening.  If you are interested in running for this position, then please send a statement with your intention to run in an email to both and  The deadline to have your name printed on the ballot is Friday, May 18th at close of business 5:00 pm.  (Nominations can be made from the floor of the meeting, but names cannot be on the ballot if submitted after the deadline.)  For more information on the position, read the Authority and Responsibilities of Elected Officers and Standing Committees.
