The Mason District Budget Town Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 19, at 7.p.m., at the Mason District Governmental Center, 6507 Columbia Pike in Annandale. Joining Supervisor Gross will be County Executive, Mr. Ed Long, who will be present to discuss his recommendations, followed by a question and answer session. Public hearings about the budget are scheduled for April 7, 8, and 9. The Board’s adoption of the revised budget is scheduled for April 28.
Supervisor Gross’s office is participating in a food drive to fill the pantries in our region that are running low on supplies. You can bring your non-perishable donations for the ACCA (Annandale Christian Community for Action) Food Pantry to the Budget Town Meeting.

Weaving the Stories of Women’s Lives
The Fairfax County Commission for Women cordially invites you to attend the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors’ Proclamation Ceremony in recognition of Women’s History Month on Tuesday, March 3, 2015.
The Commission for Women will host a reception in the Fairfax County Government Center’s reception area beginning at 8:30 am and the Board of Supervisors meeting will begin at 9:30 am.
The 2015 Women’s History proclamation recipient will be Edith P. Mayo, Curator Emeritus of Political History at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.
